Viché is an area in the East of Neunseitenlande, and has changed hands between Neuvellon and Neunseitenlande numerous times in history. The area is of particular interest due to the diaspora of both Neunseite and Neuvellon speaking populations. Many consider themselves to be less Neunseite, less Neuvellon and more as a single identity in Viché. Since the creation of the EEU, the Municipal Government brought forward a proposal for a reunification and revitalisation scheme for the area, which would see that many EEU freedoms allow for the region to revitalise itself and further express its deep cultural history. This allows french speaking residents to have the option to obtain dual citizenship between nations. These individuals cannot receive welfare benefits but can access both countries universities and healthcare systems as citizens. The Municipal Government of Viché is now accountable to the Neuvellon and Neunseitenlande governments with relevant parties of both nations being able to stand candidates in elections. There is now the constitutional right for a referendum to move the border of Viché/Neuvellon along cultural lines. Among these agreements, the former Historic Neuvellon constructed Chateau’s and Crown lands that had existed Pre-1830 have been returned to the Neuvellon crown estate; with the two Dynasties promising to further cooperate in Protection of Constitutional Monarchies and Royal Heritage across the EEU.
Among local news, Les Nouveaux Verts (The New Greens) party have successfully won a local electoral campaign in the area. They have further pressed for a Nuclear Power Station to be developed locally to provide green power, and to move 14 square kilometres of solar farms to be on top of car parks and buildings to restore their fields for conservation and biodiversity land.
