how it started: (Olive = Olive'Dawn Juniper = Juniper'leaf) Olive: Olivedawn approaches the elders' clearing with a polite dip of her head, though her heart is hammering against her ribs. "Juniperleaf, I need to talk to you, my lady. I was hoping you could accompany me just past the camp barrier for a short stroll. The fresh air will do us both good." Juniper: "Um okay" she meowed pointing skykit to the nursery then walking with Olive'dawn "So, what did you want to talk about?" she meowed curiously "You just asked me out of nowhere" she said~ Olive: Olivedawn slows her pace, her paws brushing against the forest moss. She swallows the lump in her throat before turning to meet the older cat's curious gaze. "I know it seemed sudden. But my mind has been running like a flooded river, Juniperleaf. It’s hard to find a quiet moment in camp when you're the deputy... and when you're the cat I can't stop thinking about." Juniper: "What do you mean?" she meowed backing up "Are you sure me?" "It's not like anyone else?" she meowed~ Olive: Olivedawn can reassure a shocked Juniperleaf by gently closing the distance between them and affirming her deep, long-held feelings. Alternatively, she could intensely declare her certainty, ignoring clan expectations to focus entirely on her love for the former medicine cat, or offer a vulnerable, soft approach that validates Juniperleaf’s feelings of uncertainty. Juniper: "I- I think you've got the wrong cat" she sprinted to the elders den "what was that all about, does she have feelings for me? I only counted her as a friend.." she looked at her paws "It can't be me- no"~ Olive: The deputy's ears flattened against her head as she watched Juniperleaf sprint away. The forest suddenly felt incredibly cold and empty. Olivedawn sank onto the moss, her tail curling tightly around her paws as she stared at the ground. Did I destroy our friendship? she thought miserably, too ashamed to walk back into camp and face the cat she loved.
