Zuma + friends go to school February 16 7:00 We’re all spending time playing when Ryder calls us We all head upstairs to see backpacks, new clothes,and Lunch boxes “What is this stuff Ryder?” Rubble asks “Well it has occurred to me that you guys have a little trouble reading, doing math and other subjects.”Ryder explains “so I’ve decided to enroll you guys in a dog school” “B-but what about rescuing?” Chase asks “Don’t worry” Ryder says patting chase on the head “It’s on the weekends and I’m sure I could do some rescuing.” “How does it work?” I ask “So you guys will have seven classes. Math, language, art, science, history and gym, along with 1 class you can pick like Music, or coding, there are three other periods lunch, recess and study hall/nap, there will be homework to turn In each Saturday” “Sounds cool” Marshall says “It starts at 7:00 and you will have to catch a bus at 6:30” “Yay waking up early” Rocky mutters sarcastically “Sorry Rocky but that’s how It works, anyways your friends will be there Libby, coral, tracker, Everest, Rex, and the mighty twins. You guys should get to bed so you won’t be tired in the morning” “Yeah like that’s gonna happen” Rocky mutters again February 17 6:45 “*yaaaawn*” I stretch and walk out of my house “Everyone is still asleep” I say “WAAAAKE UUUUUP!!!” I yell “*yaaawn* geez Zuma” chase says “Hey where’s Rocky?” Rubble asks “You don’t even need to ask” I say with a chuckle We walk over to his house “3-2-1” Skye says “ROCKYYYYY!” we all yell He jumps and bonks his head “Uuuggh what” he groans “Get up dude we need to get ready” I say “Plus I’m hungry” rubble adds “Fiiiine” Rocky says We all walk To the elevator when Marshall slips on a pull toy and gets tied up we all laugh and the elevator goes up 6:00 We get up stairs in our new clothes “Oohh clouds, and bunnies!” Skye says joyfully “Do you guys like your new clothes?” Ryder asks “Yes!” We all exclaim “Alright” Ryder says “eat and head to the bus stop” “Ryder?” “Yes rubble?” “Where is the bus stop?” “I know where it is.” Skye says We all eat and begin to walk. 6:30 The bus arrives and we all hop on “Hey marsh!” Everest says “Um hi” Marshall replies We all sit down and ride to school but first we end up In this Random area with mansions “Zuma where are we?” Liberty asks “No Idea.” I reply Then these 2 snooty looking dogs hop on the bus A mastiff and a poodle I think They try to walk on the bus lookin swag but to me they look plain stupid 6:50 We arrive at school “Woah cool” Marshall says “Umm not really to me.” Rocky says “Why not” rubble asks “Too many dogs” Rocky replies I elbow him “Come on you’ll be fine!” I say We walk inside til we find a bunch of free lockers “Libby wanna share?” I ask “Sure why not.” She replies The locker buddies are… Me and Libby, evie and marsh, chase and Skye, Rocky and coral, rubble and tracker, and Ella and Rex, tuck has his own. 7:00 We walk to class and sit with our Locker buddies “Hello class, I’m ms. Allen and I will be homeroom teacher” she says “we have a lot of new students so we will be introducing ourselves first, please say your name and dog breed.” “She seems real nice” Liberty whispers “Starting with the little brown dog in the front” ms. Allen says “Me?” I ask “Yes you” “My name is Zuma and I’m a chocolate lab” “My name is liberty and I’m a dachshund” Rocky was next to us “I…uh” he starts, then he pulls his hood over his head “His name is Rocky and he’s a mutt” I finish The rest goes pretty smoothly. 11:00 We’re all sitting eating lunch “Rocky what was that in homeroom?” Chase asks “I don’t wanna talk about it” he replies “Sooo what grades you guys got?” Skye asks All of us say a’s and b’s “Rocky what about you?” Ella asks “All a’s” he mumbles “Woah really?” Tuck asks “Yeah” “NERD” Zorba the mastiff yells “Ha yeah!” Alia the poodle yells Rocky looks at them “What you gonna say, shy boy?” Alia says “Shy boy, shy boy” zorba taunts “I…I, JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!” Rocky snaps Then he runs out the room 11:20 I eventually find Rocky sitting on the floor curled up “Rocky what’s up?” I ask “It’s overwhelming for me.” He says “I know, it is, but knowing you, I know you’ll be just fine “How do you know?” “Because when I was little… I felt the same way about you guys” “What do you mean?” “Because I used to watch you guys play all the time, And when you would ask me I would always freeze up, Until one day Ryder encouraged me to ask you myself. "i had no idea" *Riiiiiiiiing* "come on that's the recess bell" “well alright.”
11:30 “Look it’s the crybaby!” Zorba says “For your information I didn’t cry” Rocky replies “Really?” Alia ask Rocky grumbles and walks away “Now listen here, Rocky hates talking to strangers, and being around lots of people and dogs, so lay off him!” I say “Or else what? Zorba asks “OR I’M GONNA TELL!” “OOOooOohh I’m sOOoOOoOo scAAaAaAareEed” Alia says I grunt And walk away 11:40 Rocky and Skye are swinging, I’m fiddling with one of those wall thingies and everyone else is somewhere else. Then I hear a thump “OOOWW” I hear I look and see Zorba and Alia laughing at Rocky Whos holding his paw, it looks scraped “Wow that was easy” Alia says Then a golden retriever and a border collie run between Rocky and the bullies “Leave him alone” says the retriever “Yeah!” Says the collie The collie looks slightly younger than me and the retriever looks no older than skye “Or what?” Says Zorba “Or this” says the retriever The collie makes a slightly scary face and growls and the bullies run off The retriever puts outs her paw for Rocky to grab He looks for a second then does “Venus” says the retriever “I’m cosmo” says the collie “Umm Rocky” “Nice to meet you” the three say 3:30 We get back to the lookout and chase nearly tackles Ryder “Hi pups, how was it?” “Good” I say “I guess” Rocky mumbles “How come?” Ryder asks “Rocky got targeted by bullies” Marshall says “Until our new friends told and the bullies got detention” I say Ryder pats Rocky on the head We walk To the cushions to study and do homework for the future school days ahead
