Okay, I am very much aware that they don’t look anything like their human selves, but it was hard making sure they looked like at least some kind of cat breed. I was thinking about them in the warriors universe. Nathaniel Kurtzburg (left): I was trying to make him a calico, the easiest cat breed to draw imo. I used my goat plush as a reference for his ears and tail. I like the fact that he has long legs because he has the goat miraculous. I personally think that he’s the type to get flustered easily, hence the blush. I also think, as a cat he’d be very cautious and easily startled. I wanted to give him sleek fur, but I heavily referenced his hero design so he came out fluffier than I wanted, but I think the back hair sticking up shows how he maybe isn’t super trusting. In the warriors universe, I don’t think he’d be a kittypet, maybe a clan cat, but most likely a loner/rouge. My sibling pointed out that maybe he ran away from his twolegs (his parents), so maybe he’s an ex kittypet. I like the idea that he just keeps running, from twolegs, from clans. In conclusion, he’d be very complex and I think his cautious nature would contrast Marc’s trusting personality. Marc Anciel (right): I started drawing him with the mindset that I wanted him to be a tabby. I think I sorta pulled it off. When I had this idea to draw them as cats, I really wanted to give him a fluffy tail that resembled a rooster’s… I probably should’ve gotten a ref. I like how complex his design is, I feel it represents his complexity. It’s also easier to draw than it looks. In the warriors universe, I think he’d be a kittypet. Maybe an outside cat so he would be able to meet Nath. He would probably be very outdoorsy and love everything about nature. He’d be very trusting and friendly, maybe to the point where it could get him in trouble or hurt. I don’t think he’d be like a damsel in distress, I think he’d be able to take care of himself. He would probably like to tease others and not realize it was teasing. He’d be seen as sweet, innocent, and cute, when he’s just friendly in order to let people open up to him. He would be the type to snuggle with you and lay his fluffy tail on you to comfort you. In conclusion, I love Marc! <3 They’d contrast with their personalities a bit. Something I noticed after I drew them was that Marc was darker, though he had a “brighter” personality. Nath had brighter colors, but he had a… “darker” personality I guess?? Idk, lemme know what you guys think! <3
