Scratch Infection AU This is canon here's what's happening: bean cat has so much trauma, and right in this scene, he thinks that it's his fault that everyone got infected. So he's not going crazy, but he's scared and alone, so this is a very sad scene. And also this is where bean cat get's introduced and show's he's not scared of the infected and is immune to all of them but there is no cure but everyone want's make a cure out of his blood but there is none so this will not stop it's a never ending cycle for bean cat... :( Poor bean cat.
