But he really didn’t want to make her mad so he didn’t say anything about it. It was about ten minutes after Hot Guy had found them that Grian spoke “I’m guessing you think we're responsible for all of…. this” Grian gestured around. Hot Guy looked at him “No” he said bluntly. Grian rolled his eyes “if you're gonna lie, at least be convincing” Vintage murmured from between them. “I’m not lying, neither of you are in trouble" Grian and Vintage shared a look, but didn’t say anything. Just then the sound of sirens cut through the air “oh that must be the paramedics” Vintage sighed in relief “cool, I’ma crash” she said ~~~~~~~~~ Grian disassociated for most of the questions, though when the paramedics tried to accuse him and Vintage for the fire Hot Guy quickly shut them down. Grian was coughing up a storm for most of it so he couldn't answer if he wanted. When they finally got an oxygen mask on him a tall woman was standing in his peripheral vision “are you Grian Moon?” Grian could feel the wing shaped tattoos concealing his actual wings prickle "depends on who’s asking” he narrowed his eyes at the woman, her face cast in shadow “Ray Tech, paramedic.” she said squatting down “You work with my older brother Tango, right?” she asked, a warm smile on her face. Now that he could see her better, he could see the resemblance. She was quite literally a female version of Tango. They had the same eyes, hair, and face. It was almost scary. “Yes…” Grian said to her. It sounded like he was talking into a fan. “Cool, now I’m just gonna ask you a few questions about your symptoms before me and my lovely friends here” she gestured to a group of paramedics that were all talking to vintage. One turned to them and gave a big smile and to thumbs up. “Take you and your lovely friend there to the hospital, okey??” Grian just nodded, it hurt too much to talk. ~~~~~~~~~ Grian had passed out not too long after they had started on the road. He would later find out that Hot Guy had paid for his and Vintage's rooms. When he woke up his eyes drifted to the window, it was noon. His arms felt numb, and when he looked down his arms were covered in bandages. He supposed the adrenaline had stopped him feeling the burns he got. He tried to sit up, and promptly fell down. “Why me?” he asked himself, his voice was a bit croaky. When he was finally able to sit up, the door opened. *What terrible timing* Grian thought as he looked at the door. *Oh Craaappp* He stared like a deer in headlights at the figure in the door “Magnus please don’t kill him” a tall dark skinned woman said from the door. The man behind her made a strangled noise “i’m not gonna kill him” He said as he entered the room. He walked over to Grian and grabbed his face “Are you okay? Numb? I can call Merle, though he probably can’t help much.” Grian blinked twice “I’m okay??”
