This project uses the pen extension to draw everything on screen, which makes it look low res on scratch but you can play it on turbowarp for higher resolution: https://turbowarp.org/1364006014?hqpen Choose out of the 88 levels to complete, they are in order of least difficult to most difficult, so I recommend starting with level one. You start with 3 set blocks on the grid which are black and don't move and 8 colored blocks which you can drag onto the grid. You can rotate the block you're holding by pressing the arrow keys on your keyboard or you can rotate the whole grid by pressing on either side of it. The aim of the game is to fit all eight blocks onto the grid, with no overlaps. If you're having trouble then try looking for spaces between the black blocks that are only wide enough to fit the red blocks, It helps to have those in first and fit the other blocks around them. If you think a level is impossible, I'll double-check the board game version but I'm trusting them to have made sure all the levels are possible.
This is a recreation of the board game "Mondrian Blocks" (yellow edition) by Smart Egg. The design of the game is inspired by the artwork of the dutch painter Piet Mondrian. If you search for Mondrian Blocks in the scratch search bar the only two results include mine and one by @DevLachh, which you can view here if you're interested: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/511578245/ I was inspired to make this 100% pen after seeing @JereTheJuggler's studio "100% Pen" https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/311847/ These are the pen functions used to draw everything on screen: Text Engine by @-Rex- https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/406678232/ Tri Filler by @-Rex-Test- https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/406929236/ Rectangle Filler by The menu design is inspired by 's game "Pixel Parachute"
