TW: Warriors: The New Prophecy spoilers Hello. woah. I haven't posted in over a week, how crazy *sarcasm* who missed me, be honest- first of all, I've been going to Zoo art camp where I get to TOUCH GRASS and learn more about/draw cutie patootie animals, which is good cuz now I'm getting better at diverse animal anatomy, and I have two silly billy buddies, but ANTYWAYSYS, I literally just finished reading Warriors: The New Prophecy: Twilight, and my old fav character, Cinderpelt died, so that wasn't fun- BUt that's not why i'm yapping right now. So basically, I've been trying to get closer to God lately, and I've been venting to him about some personal stuff, but also just the struggles that I've been having with using my time well by finally getting back to work on Spirit Seekers again and actually clean my gosh dang room cause I need to slither my way in and out of certain corners of it and it's not okay ;v;. Then about Spirit Seekers, I redesigned most of the characters and even renamed some of them, but I haven't even finished the 8th chapter that will end up having 20 different artstyles cuz it's been unfinished since 2024 probably TvT. Not that it's meant to be a big, actual thing on Scratch, people probably don't even know about it, and it is a small platform after all. Whether it's because I have a life, am lazy, or just can't juggle all these life things at once, that's not necessarily the point. When I started reading The New Prophecy, Squirrelpaw/flight became my favorite because she seemed silly and kind of a pain (I like that character trope for some reason). But then, as the series went on, specifically in Starlight and Twilight, Leafpool slowly grew on me (yes that's the cat I'm holding in the thumbnail lol). She started to have feelings that she couldn't quite understand with Crowfeather, and it built up enough to the point at the cliff where it was finally proven that they were star crossed lovers. They met in secret, but her feelings started to tear her in two. She was a medicine cat who wasn't even supposed to have feelings for another, let alone with someone from another clan. But then she ran away from all the stress of both sides, to the moon pool. Spottedleaf told her to follow her heart, whatever choice she made would be right, and approved by Starclan. Eventually she chose to go off with Crowfeather. But Thunderclan suddenly got attacked by badgers, and her and Crowfeather ran off to help. Cinderpelt was slowly dying, but in her last moments, she reassured her that even if she stayed with her clan, Cinderpelt still would've died because it was her destiny, and that in the end, Leafpool made the right choices, even if now she realized her heart belonged in Thunderclan as a medicine cat. This struck me so hard, because not only did I relate to Leafpool because of her hardship with love (because no offense to any boys out there, but the boys at my school suck), but then I realized I had found comfort in her experiences and actions because it told me that, like Starclan, God has your life planned out, and if you let yourself trust him and your heart, you'll make the right decisions. And note that before I had read any of that, I had been seeing gospel YouTube shorts about taking any stress off your shoulders, and just trusting God, when I had LITERALLY JUST BEEN STRESSING ABOUT SPIRIT SEEKERS. IT'S A SIGN. I love him and I love Leafpool. Now it's 10:15 and I was supposed to be in bed an hour ago so before my mom slimes me out, BYYE GOD BLESSS <333
