threw this together in half an hour check out the code inside! i think its pretty cool - it's my first time making something like this hmm i haven't posted anything or used scratch in a long time (>2 years :/ ) but i was learning trigonometry for robotics and stuff and decided to throw this together for fun in inverse kinematics there are generally two orientations to get to the same point - "flipType" changes whether the arm prefers the up or down using different methods (central, relative to mouse, none) anyways it basically works by using the law of the cosines and some simple trig to calculate the turn angles and then traces its path with pen, letting each arm simply be a clone of a single sprite.
