To implement the engine into your own project, you will have to follow a basic series of steps. First, drag the font that you like (There are only two currently) into your backpack. Go to your project, drag the font into your sprite tab from your backpack. Go inside the code tab and you'll find three lines of code. Set the variable "Text" to whatever you want to be written on the screen. Then, add a function block (FastRender or BaseRender) to determine whether the engine will print out the text on the screen at a normal pace (good for dialogue boxes) , or if it will instantly print the text on the screen (good for UI).
Welcome to my first project. This is a fully-functioning text engine built entirely in Scratch, consisting of five variables, two functions, and three lines of code. This is definitely the most simplified, text engine you'll find on the site, optimized for customization, compatibility, and convenience. Please credit me in your project if you decide use this.
