Thanks for coming. Kai miserably broke my heart so I need a witness to both sides It had taken a bit, but during the day I'd been working up the courage to ask Kai THE QUESTION. I was heading to lunch when Spencer came up behind me, but I didn't wanna lose this confidence so I just rushed along, prepared to throw him out a window. "Trix, I gotta tell you something-" I didn't even stop walking. "Look Spencer, can it wait? You know I've been waiting for this, and I'm ready!" He grabs my wrist. "I know, but just listen-" I pull away, and push open the doors to the cafeteria. And I see it. I see them. Carlos. Kai. Carlos. KAI. I'm backing away but Kai sees me, and he looks...sad? Worried? What does it matter? I run to the bathroom, and hide in a corner by a sink. I bury my head in my hands, and don't look up when I hear footsteps. "Spencer I don't wanna-" Laughter. "I'm not Spencer, But I'm here to talk, and you better because I broke my oath of never entering public bathrooms because of it." That voice...it couldn't be. They wouldn't. I look up, "F- Forest?" I say, sniffling. They nod, and pull me up. "Look, I don't like Carlos. You don't like Carlos. Buuuuttttt we both CARE about Kai. So if he's happy, then WE'RE happy. I do get mega sketchy vibes from him, though. You can help me look into that, but you can't be a pity party in the corners of the boys restroom, mkay?" I groan. They have a point. And maybe investigating Carlos will keep me busy. "Okay..." (No body's p.o.v, late that night, Carlos in a room of a family who knows nothing about him, as if he's never been there...but now he is and they don't see the weird in that.) He looks around, and pulls out something strange, seemingly talking to someone like it was a phone call. "Hola...yes...no, they've not a clue. What? ...Are you sure? A plan change this late- No sir- Yes I- ...Yes. I'm very lucky. Yes...Gracias, Sir."
