Current Issues of the Scratch Community Scratch has always been about sharing your creativity and having fun. However, recently certain things have been ruining the purpose of Scratch. One of the most recognizable things are the platformers. Certain platformers are undeniably amazing, but some are just copies of others with different colors and slightly different setups. Much of Scratch has been taken over by these generic projects, mainly platformers, but also animations. Ads are also a lot more common now in the comments. Because of this, appreciation has become a problem. Many people are seeking simply for fame, followers, and views. This causes F4F's and ads. Sometimes now, people follow random people without checking their projects! They think they are "helping" the community, but really, they are ruining their own reputation and making others hopeless, thinking they will not be meaningfully noticed. To conclude, appreciation and copying of things have become a problem on Scratch, but I am not to say that there are good projects and people that appreciate each other. Remember to code for fun, not fame.
The word Scratchzine was from the original cover, the letters in ideas were taken from "scratchzine" and rearranged. The "D" is the bubble letter D in the sprite library. Everything else was made by me, including the text above.
