Additionally, if you’re playing as the Emperor, you’ll receive one Emperor card, and if you’re playing as the Slaves, you’ll receive one Slave card—separate from the Citizen cards. ④ Once per turn, choose which card to play. Your opponent also selects a card to use once per turn. After that, victory, defeat, or a draw is determined according to the rules for determining the outcome described below. In the event of a draw, the game continues. Please note that once a card is used, it cannot be used again. ⑤ The rules for determining the outcome are as follows: if an Emperor and a Slave are played, the Slave wins; if an Emperor and a Citizen are played, the Emperor wins; if a Slave and a Citizen are played, the Citizen wins; and if two Citizens are played, it is a draw.
