edit 2026/08/20: I did this the day my great-grandmother died. She lived in another country so I couldn't go to her funeral. She was 99. I knew she had to die at some point and I've never been somebody who's anxious about death, but for some reason I was always in denial, I never considered a scenario where she'd die. That day, my grandfather sent a message on the family group saying she wasn't feeling very well and that a priest had come. Around an hour later another message told us she had died. I literally jumped out of my chair (I was working on the dark anime music quiz). I was the only one crying, I couldn't believe it, it was the first time I experienced a death in the family. I don't know how long this project took, I was feeling so bad at the time and this animation was rather to cope than for fun. Anyway I'm okay now, I know she's in heaven and she lived and died happily, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, but I want to keep this project to remember that day.
