Personally, I prefer the Achaemenid Empire (Persian Empire), but it's just my opinion. At the end I got very lazy and just copy-pasted the Macedonian flag (I can change it if you want, everything else was made by myself). This is part 26 and 27 for @Cookiefox150 's MAP: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1333103589/ I drew the pictures in Corel Painter 2022 and animated in Moho 14. Historical context (might be somewhat inaccurate) : In April 334 BCE Alexander III of Macedonia (known as Alexander the Great) entered Asia and began his campaign against the Achaemenid Empire. Darius III, the king of the Achaemenid Empire, ordered the Satraps from the region to stop Alexander. The Persians and Macedonians fought in the Battle of Granicus, it was won by the Macedonians. Darius decided to lead his army against Alexander by himself. The Battle of Issus took place in 333 BCE and was won by the Macedonians as well. It forced Darius to flee while the battle, later he returned to Babylon to gather larger forces. Meanwhile Alexander took over Egypt and was crowned Pharaoh. After the Battle of Gaugamela in 331 BCE, which also ended with the victory of the Macedonians and Darius fled, Babylon, Suza, Persepolis and other cities in the regions were taken by the Macedonians. Darius wanted to arrive in Bactria and gather another army there, but was taken as a prisoner by Bessos, the satrap of Bactria, who later declared himself the new king of Persia under the name Artaxerxes (V). Later Darius was killed by Bessos and found by the Macedonians. Bessos was captured in 329 BCE.
