‧₊˚ ☼ ☀ dawn reveries . ˚ .. design request for moss / @RAVENOFTHEEAST __________ hi hi !! after nearly two months, the design is finished !! i'm so sorry it took me so long, life has been busy and demotivation kept hitting me like a brick </3 but it's finally done :D i had a ton of fun designing them, and i'm honestly really pleased with how it turned out! i knew exactly what i wanted to do for the line art, but i struggled a lot trying to figure out how i wanted the patterns to look </3 but after playing around with a few ideas for a bit, i think it ended up looking okay :] if anyone can guess the characters that the design is inspired by you get a thumbs up c: __________ ₊˚ ☼ name suggestions ✩ aurelian ✩ radiance / radiant ✩ purity ✩ daylily __________ ₊˚ ☼ design notes ✩ any agab ✩ thick, silky fur ✩ wings are stylized fur ✩ wings always cover one side of the face, if you want to add some to the other side you're welcome to ^^ ✩ long ear tufts that defy every law of physics ✩ very long, fancy white eyelashes ✩ tufts of fur on their head that resemble moth antennae ✩ never draw bald !! that little headshot in the corner is just to show what the markings on the face look like __________ ₊˚ ☼ process added in the process at moss's request! i'm afraid i don't have pictures of every step, but i did my best to include all the major bits ^^ ✩ brainstorming, lotssss of bird wings & eyelashes haha ✩ messy concept sketch of the face ✩ rough line art ✩ rough color and pattern concept ✩ and then the final result! added a version with and without the highlights on the line art __________ music is the moon will sing by the crane wives because i don't know how many times i listened to it while drawing this design (it was a lot),, if i must suffer then so shall you c: /j ───
