The Light Twins share a body, but are not the same people– both are drastically different– and they are summoned via dreaming using different methods. ——— Blue Light ( Song: Dancing in circles until my little feet fall off - Spellcasting ) "The trickster" --- Blue Light is rather mischievous, and quite cruel at times. They are openly disliked by the overlookers, and those with their mark from making a deal with them are held at a lower standard and looked down upon by the overlookers. They like to twist and manipulate words, bending rules to the extreme while still TECHNICALLY obeying them. Be very specific with them, as they may use your words against you. They are like a fae. Pay very close attention to what they say. They are summoned by drawing their hand symbol on the right leg and then falling asleep. Making deals with them is rather easy, but as stated before, they are willing to use technicality against you. They like to puppeteer. Blue Light rewards selfishness. They are willing to bring you back from perma-death, but will not bring back someone else from perma-death. Blue Light will not make a deal with you if you have the marking of making a deal with Guiding Light. Their deal mark is their hand mark on the left side of the neck. ——— Guiding Light ( Song: Oblivion(Instrumental) - Grimes ) "The caregiver" --- Guiding Light is the calmest out of the two, seen as the "parent star". They created Prophet and the other original Overlookers. Those with a marking from making a deal with them are favored by Overlookers. They take words at face value and literally, if you are too specific, you lower the chance of getting a generalization- this can be good or bad depending on what you are requesting. Sometimes getting the generalization of a request creates a bigger, more beneficial outcome, but sometimes it can also be less beneficial than being specific. It all depends. Guiding Light is always willing to offer comfort, unlike Blue Light, their advice is great to listen to. Making a deal with them is more... difficult than Blue Light, you have to provide them with good reasoning first and they are very strict with what they consider "good reasoning". They will not abuse technicality, but they may take your words too literally. Get to the point when asking of them, and be specific if necessary. They are summoned via drawing their eye mark on the back of the neck and tying twine around the left wrist before falling asleep. You will have to suffer through sleep paralysis before getting to see them. Be ready. Guiding Light rewards selflessness. They are willing to bring back someone else from perma-death, but will not bring you back from perma-death. Guiding Light will not make a deal with you if you have Blue Light's deal marking. Their deal mark is their eye mark on the bottom side of the right wrist.
The Light Twins are not very well known, especially not to those residing in Currentlife- mainly because they are very elusive and the Overlookers are credited as the highest powers. They are easier to find out about in Quarterlife because you may overhear about them if listening in on an Overlooker's conversation. Finding out how to summon them and their "terms of service" does require more digging though, such as finding old books and things. Most times the consequences of making a deal with them go unknown until after already making the deal.(For instance: You probably will only learn that if you make a deal with one, you cannot make a deal with the other after you've already made the deal) /They are two sides of the same coin./
