space or click yo The Ketz Armored Car (or Ketz Pancelzauto) had faced a trial by fire in the Llamadoridican Civil War and proved itself, as well as the concept of armored cars overall, a crucial development in armored technology in the Llamadoridican People's Army. Throughout the first years of the civil war the Ketz M1910 would see combat throughout the southern front and, despite reliability, standardization, offroad performance, and tire vulnerability issues, the potential was there. It would begin production in June 1910 and would see combat in earlier battles such as the Battle of Dawka and very significant ones such as Battle of Cavaros. The Ketz M1910 had huge potential but was plagued with severe engine reliability issues which stemmed directly from the rushed transition commercial trucks made to the actual armored car during the heat of the civil war. It would have 8mms of armor in the front and around the turret while having 6 to 4mms everywhere else, weighing 4.1 tons. It has a water cooled HMG as its sole armament. Its engine wasn't extremely underpowered but was overworked often with a 28 MPH top speed on road and 10 MPH top speed off road. It had a crew of 3 - 4, with a driver and commander/codriver in the hull and a machine gunner in the turret (occasionally with an assistant machine gunner). The Ketz M1912 would be designed in late 1911 and begin production as early as Janurary 1912 near the closing months of the war. When it was in use it had proven to be far more capable than the Ketz M1910 with a beefed up engine, reinforced and dual wheels on both the front and the back, and nearly twice as much armor than before in certain areas. It would see extensive combat in all fronts as war production kicked into overdrive, with particularly effective use in the southern front dealing with the remnants of the Prov. Republic and the northeast past the Niedz. In the flatlands of the north and the plains of the southwest the Ketz M1912 would prove far more effective than anticipated. Reliability was still less than optimal but it wasn't as critically poor as it was for the M1910. Continued production of the M1912 continued past the end of the civil war and active distribution of the pliable little vehicle is actively underway for the allies of the People's State of Llamadoridica. The Ketz M1912 had rectified some of the glaring shortcomings the M1910 had and mildly improved others, leaving the war a battle proven armored car with yet more space to improve. The front would have 12mm of armor in the front and around the turret, 10 to the sides, and 6 on the top and back. It weighs 5.3 tons. A newer addition would come in the form of a 25mm autocannon put in place of the machine gun in the turret. It fires 14 round magazines of high explosive and armor piercing rounds, all with the intention of attacking soft ground targets such as emplacements, infantry, and light fortifications. A water cooled machine gun would be moved to the assistant drivers seat. It has a top speed of 34 MPH on road and 12 MPH off road. It has a crew of 4 - 5, with a driver, gunner and assistant gunner for the 25mm, commander/hull machine gunner and occasionally an assistant hull machine gunner.
