Note: If you’re going to be disrespectful in any way, please and kindly get out. I’m Christian. It literally says on my bio, and I’m never going to change my opinion. But that does not mean that other people can’t believe what they believe and live their lives. I see so many comments everywhere (mostly on ytub tho) with christians on random unrelated posts saying “God loves you” or “Jesus died for you” and while that’s true it’s disrespectful to the non Christians on there to see it and flat out annoying. The Bible calls Christians to spread the gospel but in nowhere does it say to force it onto people. That means that people can mention it to others and talk about it if the other person is open to an actual conversation but if they truly are interested they’ll do research themselves. Nobody wants to hear a random stranger yap about a religion they’re not in, especially when it’s somewhere completely unrelated to religion. Also, to brush on the fact the stereotype is that all Christians are homophobic and that like half of them actually are, the other half is not. So please stop thinking all of us are. The bible never has a strict verse that actually says something like “man and man should never be together in a romantic relationship” IT NEVER SAYS THAT. The bible is translated throuh many different languages and sometimes people like to overanalyze it so much they don’t actually think about the verse. The one verse that many people do think is homophobic is actually regarding to the hebrews in that time period which was a LONG, LONG, time ago. I am aroace and have mostly lgbtq friends i all support. The fact is, if someone has a strong opinion they are not going to let go. That’s just simple human nature. Let people believe what they believe and don’t hate on them for it.
This project was made because i saw other projects about this topic too Verses: John 13:34: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." Says to love one another no matter what. 1 Peter 3:15 "But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,". This literally says to not force on religion. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs." This is what Christians are called to do is love, and not to keep record of sins because Jesus already took care of that. Matthew 7: 1-2 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Christians should never judge others for their choices or actions, or else they too will be judged. These are just some out of the many verses that prove my point.
