Chapter two: Stella awoke. Today was the first day of class. She was really excited. Her first subject was potions with Gryffindor. She walked down from the girls dormitory and went down to breakfast greeting her sister. "Hey! Anne!" She smiled at her sister "Hi Stell," Annemarie said, "What's your first subject? I have herbology with the Hufflepuffs" "Potions," Stella says showing her sister her schedule, "With the Gryffindors." Annemarie laughs, "We'll see how THAT goes." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Potion class started quite boringly. Stella had read the potion book a couple times before Hogwarts, so she felt prepared. Before class there was so chatter, a girl named Hermione Granger was talking about potion making and Malfoy was bragging about something. Soon Professor Snape walked into the room silencing everyone. He walked in front of Harry Potter, "It looks like our new celebrity" Celebrity? Stella thought, Really? "I suppose our he can answer a couple answers..." Snape went on. Stella grabbed a piece of paper ready to write down some notes. "What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?" Snape first asks. "I don't know sir," Harry Potter said. Slytherin laughed. Malfoy who was behind her the loudest. "Tut, tut, tut, Fame isn't everything, isn't it?" Snape said, his lips curling into a thin smile. Hermione Granger was raising her hand. "Where would you look if I told you to find me a bezoar?" Snape asked next. "I don't know sir," Harry Potter said again. Slytherin laughed again. "Shut up will you?" Stella asked Malfoy, copying down the answer as Snape explained it. And that was the Potions lesson. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The rest of the week Stella tried to avoid the Slytherin common room. Well she was mostly avoiding her own house. She had no idea why she wanted to be sorted into Slytherin. She spend most of her time in the library reading or studying. Occasionally hanging out with her sister and her Ravenclaw friends. Soon she figured out there was flying practice with Madame Hooch on September 12th. She was really excited. She loved quidditch, she and her sister use to play one on one quidditch. It was really fun. She sadly knew as soon as Malfoy found out, it would be very suffering for her. "I was on a broom since I was five," Malfoy bragged in the common room. "That's so young!" Pansy Parkinson gushed "You must be really good then!" Blaise said. Stella tried to quickly pass by to the girls dormitory. "Yes, I am quite good," Malfoy said, "It's quite a shame that they don't allow first years on the team." "Such a shame," Parkinson agreed as Blaise nodded his agreement. Malfoy noticed her, "Goldenrod." Stella forced her self not to sigh, "Malfoy." He looked at her, "Do you not agree?" Stella tilted her chin up, "I'm sure Dumbledore has a reason for that rule." "Ha!" He scoffed, "You follow that muggle lover?" "And what's wrong with that?" Stella countered, "That Granger girl is probably way smarter than you!" "She's still a mudblood!" He said angerily. "Don't use that word!" Stella said, "I hate you." She stormed away from the common room ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Up!" Stella said and the broom flew into her hand quickly. Madame Hooch, their teacher, has instructed the class to say up to get the broom into their hands. Stella was one of the ones who did on first try, many struggled. She saw that Malfoy and Potter both got it on first try but Granger struggled. "Alright now," Madame hooch said when the brooms were in everyone's hands, "When I say 'Go' push off the ground into the air. 3.. 2.." But then Neville Longbottom the tall Gryffindor boy started flying up into the air. Everyone looked up amused. Lots of Slytherins started laughing again. "It's not funny!" Stella tried, though she was a little amused. "Get down here right now, boy!" Madame Hooch yelled. But, Neville didn't. Finally after when he was around 60 ft into the air he fell of his broom falling to the ground. Slytherin roared with laughter while Gryffindor looked at him concerned. Neville was crying he must have broken his wrist or something. "Alright, boy, come with me let's take you to the hospital wing," Madame Hooch said, "No flying while I'm gone!" she added for the rest of us. "hey! Longbottom left something," Malfoy said once they were gone, he held up a shiny glass ball. "Ooh What's that Draco?" Pansy asked him interested. "It's Longbottom's remembrall that his Gran sent him" Malfoy said showing the crowd. "Give it back," It was Harry Potter, "That's Neville's." "Only if you can catch it," Malfoy said jumping onto his broom and flying into the air. Harry jumped onto his broom and did the same. "Stop!" Stella called out, "You'll get us all in trouble!" But nobody heard her.
In the end Harry got the remmenball, but was also taken away by Professor McGonagall Malfoy smirked triumphantly. "That wasn't nice, Malfoy," Stella said. He shrugged, "Whatever Goldenrod." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~That was a long chapter XD Thanks for reading the second chapter the next one will be out tomorrow or the day after!
