=================================================== SUBJECT: MARCUS CROSS =================================================== "No powers. No magic. Just discipline and a debt to pay." --------------------------------------------------- CHARACTER PROFILE --------------------------------------------------- • AGE: [Classified] • ARCHETYPE: Tactical Detective / Master Martial Artist • POWER SOURCE: None. Pure peak-human conditioning, strategy, and environmental awareness. --------------------------------------------------- THE CASE FILE --------------------------------------------------- Marcus Cross was once the point-man for an elite, non-powered military spec-ops unit. During a highly classified operation, his entire squad was wiped out in seconds by a rogue threat. Left for dead in enemy territory, Marcus survived by adapting. He spent years off the grid, traveling through remote regions and mastering every global martial arts style he encountered. He trained his body and mind to act as a flawless machine. Upon returning home, he discovered the military had wiped all records of his squad's existence to cover up the incident. Realizing the system was completely corrupt, Marcus ditched his uniform, strapped on his tactical gear, and became a freelance detective. He refuses to use superpowers, believing they breed arrogance. He fights to expose the conspiracy and bring justice to his fallen team, proving human discipline can overcome any god. --------------------------------------------------- ⚔️ COMBAT MECHANICS & STYLE --------------------------------------------------- Because Marcus knows almost every fighting style, he adapts instantly to any opponent. For reference, use these styles for him: 1. VS Heavy Brawlers: Uses nimbler evasion, Aikido/Judo throws, and redirects their own momentum against them. 2. VS Speedsters: Switches to defensive Boxing stances, tight parries, and devastating counter-punches. 3. VS Superpowered/Magic Users: Relies heavily on his utility belt gadgets to disrupt their focus and close the distance. BOOTY PULL GADGETS (just pulls em outta nowhere): • Smoke Pellets (for instant breaking of enemy line-of-sight) • Flashbangs & Stun Wires (to interrupt magical casting animations) • Reinforced Brass Knuckles (hidden in his taped gloves for heavy impact) --------------------------------------------------- COLLAB STUFF --------------------------------------------------- YOU CAN: - Use Marcus in your Fight Collabs (He is perfect as a smart counter-striker!). - Write him into your own lore animations or custom rogue's galleries. - Modify his gadgets to fit your project's universe. YOU CANNOT: - Give him any superpowers (It ruins his ideals). - Re-upload this project without adding your own animation/remix work. The case remains open. Good luck, guys. ===================================================
One thing to note, in my free time I’ll update the actual project content to be “better” but no promises CREDITS: Idk, tbh I mainly was thinking of the Dark Knight when writing Marcus so I guess credit to DC. For his design, I had multiple references and ideas when drafting the whole character, but I ended up using the more simplified, Frixy style version. Credits to Omg he looks like a military version of Bruno Bucciarati lol
