IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY LAG PLS GO TO TURBOWARP. I AIN'T TRYNA HEAR NOTHING ABOUT NO LAG!!!!!: https://turbowarp.org/1362504706 Not only is this my first completed AND original animation in nearly four years... But this is easily my longest animation!!! THIS PUPPY IS CLOCKING IN AT 9 MINUTES!!! That's including the intro. Putting that in perspective, my longest animation hasn't even reached 3 minutes. Though, there are over 100 speech bubbles so there's a lot of reading... Btw any previous statement of me claiming not wanting to make 8 or 16-bit animations anymore can be disregarded. It was purely an excuse. So the reason for why I had, yet again, another hiatus on the platform was simply due to the fact that I no longer had any satisfaction or fulfillment in Scratch. I was barely making meaningful projects so my desire to consistently return to the website dramatically decreased, hence the constant breaks. Something needed to change or I was probably going to ditch Scratch all together. Thank goodness the ladder didn't happen! Instead of making a project dedicated to another apology and "promising" to do better, I wanted evidence to show that I DO actually want to start uploading more often. That's why you see Mario, Luigi, and Toad intensely staring at a Cicis pepperoni's pizza I found off Google LOL And uh consider this an overwhelmingly late 500 follower special. It's honestly mind boggling to me that I gained 300 followers off of uploading anything BUT the reason people were following me for in the first place. I really do appreciate everyone who has stuck around to see the projects that I've posted. Now don't expect me to start pumping out animations every week or couple of weeks. Animating this project was very fun, but it was also very DRAINING. I have a pretty bad work ethic so I definitely spent over 24 hours working on this. In the future, I'll try to make my animations shorter unless most people prefer the more longer style projects. I'd also like to note that for comparison, the quality is somewhat lower compared to my unfinished "Mario & Luigi go to McDonalds AGAIN" animation. I already animate slow enough so adding all of those squash and stretch poses made the process even more daunting. Now thinking about it that was probably the reason I stopped working on it... Anyway I gotta stop yapping about random stuff! I'd like to mention that I would appreciate open criticism for this animation. Don't think of criticism as being insulting towards me or anything. It genuinely helps me discover issues that people may have with my animations so I can deliver better next time. It is important to note that I won't try to apply every critique to future animations since some of the personal choices I make are deliberate and likely unchanging. You should still be open about any issues you have though! But you obviously don't have to dig out your butt if you don't have any critiques with the animation. Thanks for reading all of these "instructions". If you haven't clicked the green flag, go ahead and handle that! ...and maaaaybeee leave a heart, star, and follow???? (SHAMELESS PLUG LOL).
