get jumpscared by noise (sorry headphone users I understand I have headphones too) Probably renaming her to Mumu (it's Chamorro don't use a translation app it's wrong) I actually have a story for this one. The animation will explain most of it, but i'll break it down for you: Mumu was born into a highly religious community, albeit a corrupt religious community ( I wish I could draw a chapel for the animation TwT). Mumu and her childhood friend (who will go unnamed for now) were "taken in" by the priest, as disciples of the Gods of Age (the deities they worshipped). The priest used the two for his own personal gain, and soon Mumu hatched a plan to get rid of him. She didn't mean for him to die, merely to scare him away from the village. Mumu's friend had no idea of the plan, and due to an unfortunate coincidence, he was on night cleaning duty in the chapel and witnessed the crime, yet, because him and Mumu were practically the only real connection they had ever formed, he promised to keep quiet. Once the villagers learned of the murder, they immediately blamed Mumu's friend, as he was the only other person that was in the chapel at the time, and... she did nothing. Mumu sat and watched as the only person that cared about her was punished, while she could have done something. Mumu doesn't blame herself, though. Her friend was sacrificed "at the word of the gods, for his misdeeds", so she blames them, and the villagers for following the word. She had already done it once, so what was a few more deserving carcasses lying around the disgusting ("impure") town? Currently, Mumu has a religious movement based around her, its members believing her as a saint/god, and she uses them to protect herself and "rid the world of impure scum and false deities (the gods of time)" as she puts it. Also she gets sun powers from the sun god because he wants to rule the gods and the gods of time are practically the only thing preventing him from doing so, plus, she doesn't know she gained the powers from him (she would not cooperate if she did lol).
