Also included in this project is the newest addition to Lu-Tech's fleet of blast doors: the AEGIS system. Designed as the replacement to the older Special Emergency System's Heavy Lockdown Seals, the Aegis blast seal is the single most advanced blast containment system on the market. Made primarily with Graphene and specially treated Tungsten-Carbide and reinforced with a synthetic compound designed to replicate nuclear pasta (despite being weaker than real nuclear pasta, it still exceeds steel's strength by around 2-4 billion times), this Class Omega blast door uses special mechanisms (named "kinetic locks") to store incredible amounts of potential energy equivalent to 80 Teragrams of mass. When a high-power blast wave impacts the door, these kinetic locks fire, sending all the stored potential energy into the frame of the door and causing its own pressure wave that not only completely fuses the door panels on a molecular level (utterly destroying the door mechanisms), but also counteracts the incoming shockwave by cancelling out a large majority of the pressure wave with its own pressure wave. Honestly, the Innovation Division still doesn't really understand how this works, but it works, and it allows the door to withstand the pressure of up to an 85 Megaton explosion.
