Alright my dudes. I want to make a game. I bet you do too :3 So cmon let’s get going! The idea of the game is where you are the pilot of a overcomplicated machine, and you only ever actually see the controls/interior of it, therefore greatly simplifying the necessity for much rendering capacity, and making room for very realistic and intricate instruments, controls, and simulation. It would be mostly a survival game where you involuntarily took a one-way ticket to the cockpit, and now you have one mission: keep the machine going. It’s a spaceship. A scout probe. And your job is to stay alive until you reach your destination: a planet suspected of holding the remnants of The Enemy, humanity’s mortal enemies. Now, I do not want this game to leave scratch. It will, for sure, need turbowarp, and I don’t think that chromebooks will run it easily. But we (yeah me and you) can do it! right now intro story (contributions by @DarkForgeStudios97 ) "When we discovered extraterrestrial life with intelligence, we expected cooperation. We expected diplomacy. We expected to do what humans do, and be treated as allies for it. Reality was different. They attacked. They fought with whatever scraps, tools, and strange little gadgets they had. And in the end… their technology surpassed ours. The war didn’t end. No one emerged as a clear victor. We simply stopped fighting — exhausted, broken, afraid of what might come next. Decades later, a lone ship drifts through the remnants of the universe we once took for granted. A small probe, launched toward the ancient battlefield: a planet still ruled by our sworn enemies. Its mission is simple — return with artifacts from the war. Relics. Proof. Answers. The journey is long, the dangers are real, and the planet below is anything but welcoming. Can you survive the passage? Can you survive a world still controlled by the enemy humanity failed to fight? Can you survive... the Probe?" but this is what you read at the start, you see? it's about as reliable as propaganda. because it is! at the end, you read (on the 'victory' ending): "When humanity discovered extraterrestrial life, we expected admiration. We expected gratitude. We expected to take what we wanted, and be treated like heroes for it. Reality was different. They resisted. They fought back with whatever scraps, tools, and strange little gadgets they had. And in the end… their technology surpassed ours. The war didn’t end. No one won. We simply stopped fighting — exhausted, broken, afraid of what might come next. time passed. Decades later, a lone ship drifted through the silent dark. A small probe, launched toward the old battlefield: the home world, the final vestige of the alien civilization. Its mission was simple — The reality was not. The journey was long. The dangers were real. And the planet below was anything but welcoming. It survived the passage through hostile space. It survived a world still controlled by those humanity once failed to conquer. the Enemy, on the other hand? they defied humanity. and now that they have been found... well, they stopped fighting because they needed time. time to rebuild. time to hide. time to pray that humanity would stay away. too bad. time's up." then it cuts to the credits and the game ends :) input wanted! this implies that we were actually working for the bad guys...
