hi apprentice lesson time. this will be rushed slightly i just spent like four hours redoing storage and doing notifications and doing ceremonies and this counts for training, so it does not count for prey. i want you guys to hunt on your own accord and not because im rewarding you to do so Delphine gathered the new apprentices out of camp. `As you all now know, you share the responsibility for prey now. To do that, of course, I as your teacher need to give you opportunities to learn how to hunt. This is the first of such opportunities, but you will be training every day.` `Remember the kit games we've already played. While this will be harder than said games, those were designed to teach you important skills. Group hunting, hiding, stealth, and learning how to trust your senses. You will need all of that for hunting.` She gazed at the kits. `Find a partner, today is all about applying these practices.` `Every single prey item requires a different technique. Birds need good balance, speed, and climbing. Rabbits need speed and high agility. Mice and voles need stealth. Lizards need stealth and agility. Fish need patience and quiet. Snakes need bravery, etc. It is too snowy for reptiles, don't bother. Show your skills to your partner and decide what to go for based on what your best combined skills are. Don't be afraid to criticize your partner, and give them tips. It may seem harsh, but you need to share knowledge to survive.` `All you have to do is fine one prey item and /attempt/ to catch it. You may still be too inexperienced to catch anything. That's okay, you'll learn quickly.` --- oorp instructions team up with one other person. show what your character is good at, see what their character is good at, and pick a prey target that matches your skills. attempt to hunt said prey together. give commentary on your partners skills, praise or criticism, just make sure your characters are sharing knowledge and commentary and working together roleplay enough by 7/20 thanks
