"woman empowerment" argument: b-but the girls made it by themselves/tweaked the message NO. i watched their documentary as an ex-blink and they clearly didn't. feminism is made by a man. WOMEN EMPOWERMENT is made by a man named teddy park. and while blackpink's music has been a lifeline to some, i'm genuinely confused [kind blinks educate me]. those lyrics are sending a falsehood. and does everyone song by girl groups have to be a. about a boy b. not caring abt boys c. heartbreak/ex? . so what is feminism? feminism is women empowerment, about standing up for female rights and making campaigns or supporting then. feminism was coined from these campaigns lol i think. reading books abt the prejudice women face and then recommended it. not to compare the two. feminism is "confidence" but not that u are a baddie, but that u can overcome any challenges that come ur way, but in a less show-off way [im not talking abt bp just generally].it's universal. we all talk about misogyny, and while that's more prevalent, this so called feminism that changed throughout the years is literally also hating nice men too or whatever... When can women talk about something meaningful? What is confidence? What IS feminism? I want to make a song to capture this specific theme of songs targeted at hating exes, men, or heartbreak. Does everything have to be about boys? It’s universal, but is it too universal? Can’t girls sing about mental health, different types of prejudice, or random things like the rain? I’m talking about the struggle and the payola. Feminist, like Blackpink riight...they has a brand deal for Meta AI glasses. While they look cool, they have been used for filming pictures of women without their consent. So why are the feminists sponsoring it? Feminism has become a lost morale; now they use it as a brand. [again this is the company's fault, i'm not blaming the girls they should've been more educated on the glasses] Something so beautiful, quintessential—love—is being disposed into cliché, corporate themes. Talk about love all you want, but there's more to it. That's why Western artists are popular; it's love, but it's beyond that. I want to write songs that break that. I want to write songs about this itself... the payola of feminism. WHAT HAPPENED TO FEMINISTS LIKE MALALA. why is that teddy park? YG? girl crush in general? what are they trying to sell? the hatred of western fans on kpop is so understandable there are some groups who arent like that... very few at least BRING. BACK. FEMINISM!!
