Bzzt. Bzzt. 'Oh my god, when will that noise stop?' Chlorophyll Amethyst Tassletail muttered. The last District Eleven tribute stepped out of the double doors. It wouldn't be long before her name was called. She sighed, waiting impatiently. Her hassled tail flicked on the floor as minutes turned to seconds. Soon. Milliseconds now. The loudspeaker buzzed, and Chlora confidently walked to the double doors as they opened. 'Chlorophyll Amethyst Tassletail, please-- oh! Here already? Well, let's begin!' a jovial gamemnaker said as light streamed in through the chamber. Chlora stepped in. It was a round cylinder. A plastic bag sat on the floor. Without thinking, she ran over to the bag and grabbed it. It was going to be important-- what the hell? Why was it floating? /She/ was floating. Oh god. Chlora was always scared of heights, unlike her brother. Chlora yowled in alarm. slitting her eyes as she ran towards the weapons rack. Elegantly-- and sometimes not-so-elegantly --dodging the gusts of air, she ran. She ran like her life depended on it. The arena was windy. Okay. 'Gamemaker scores depend on how you interact with your environment. Well, I'm gonna interact with it, alright!' Chlora mewed, grabbing a lance. Frantically tying the lance onto the plastic bag, Phylla made a makeshift parachute. Now what? Hold on? No-- she had a better idea. 'Hey! I'm probably the only tribute to get a ZERO on my parade! That stands out more than a five, no?' Chlorophyll mewed, her voice slightly muffled by the wind. She grinned, grabbing the lance with her teeth. With her back paws, she hung onto the weapons rack and dragged it under her. She had one damn plan. One plan. That was it. Break the ceiling. As the last gust of wind grew stronger, Chlora felt herself lifting into the air more and more. Maneuvering herself so that her front half was now on the lance, she grabbed the weapons rack. Swinging it around wildly, she hurled it up as high as she could towards the ceiling. Shards of rainbow glass rained around her as, due to the intense pressure, the gamemakers' window broke. They yowled in alarm, also being swept up by the wind. The rope! She still had rope! 'Hang on! Grab the rope!' Chlorophyll screamed. She wasn't going to get a zero this time. As the shrimp-eating gamemaker grabbed the rope, everyone else did too. The wind shut off, and Chlora let go of the bag, landing with a thud on the floor. What happened next is debated by some sources. as the camera was shut off due to the weapons rack flying into it at full speed. Either Chlorophyll acted as a cat-sized cushion for the gamemakers, or the wind turned on again just in time. Either way, the gamemakers were unharmed. Chlorophyll, on the other paw ... 'Thank you!' Chlorophyll coughed, grinning and showing her amber tooth. 'I'm so sorry 'bout all the trouble! Hey, watch out for m' brother! I'm sure he'll have something planned!' she said, lying. It was just to get the sponsors. 'And to a special cat~! This was for you!' she mewed, bowing. 'I hope you can forgive me.'
