Kinda just throwing this into some studios I'm in to get some answers I guess, hopefully this works lol With THE ending soon (my most recent camp), and me feeling more confident in my writing abilities, I've been considering making an object camp! I've made a few in the past. . . HOST ( Horrible Object Show Time ) - 2023. More or less just me learning the basics of hosting camps, as well as learning about how to draw and whatnot. . . my art on Scratch was kind of scary back then with how terrible it was, but in the end, HOST was a product I was proud of! WIT ( Washed Into Turmoil ) - 2024. I figured out how to do neat gimmicks for my camp, improved my art, and this was basically the camp that kick-started the lore for a LOT of my characters. Overall, still not the greatest thing and was low quality, but again, something I felt very happy about, as it was at least better than HOST. EW ( Exister's Wackiness ) - Late 2024/Early 2025. Probably where my art and story writing started to have a glow up! Yes, there were still plot holes. . . the other two camps had them too... but I feel like EW was a significant step up from both of them, and definitely helped strengthen the characters and dynamics of my main 4 goobers! So. . . win in my eyes! Now, it being 2026, I'm helping with THE ( Triple Hosting Experience ), and I believe my art, storytelling, and experience might be ready for another go at a camp, with the hopes of this one being my highest quality yet! Here's a quick list of pros and cons to me considering starting a camp though. . . Pros: High quality storytelling (hopefully), unique camp gimmick and theme I've already thought of, and you'd have a host who's really patient with XQZ's and wouldn't mind giving out time extensions/whatnots if needed! Cons: The reason I stated that last pro was because I know that I'm not the most consistent person in the world with things, plus with school coming up soon I might struggle with getting episodes out sometimes. I can't promise every episode will have the same amount of effort placed in if I want to get an episode done. Also, I mean it when I'm really generous with time extensions because it's caused issues in the past with some camps, so you might have to tell me to stop if it goes overboard??? To summarize-- my thoughts swirling in my head is the reason I'm questioning whether to make a new camp or not soon before THE ends or just plain afterward. No actually, none of my main 4 OCs would be a host. I'm considering this a project that takes place in the same universe as my past camps, but is definitely held to an extent AWAY from those storylines so that I have a lot more free will with writing as well as not confusing anyone with having to smack 4 seasons of lore at them and say "good luck"! Sooooooooo yeah, there's my rant. . . . Thoughts? :P
