This became more of an experiment than a test lol Click to change “Wait” (time before switching to next costume) to No wait, Wait 0.05, Wait 0.1 No wait is litterally just a forever loop with next costume in it Wait 0.05 has a “wait 0.05 seconds” in the forever costume loop thingy Wait 0.1 has a “wait 0.1 seconds” in the forever costume loop costume loop thingy This is supposed to test how good a scratch animation looks with no delay before switching costumes compared to having a delay. Tbh this might be a little… off ig?? I started animating this with no wait on and adjusted the timing for no wait. At least this proves to me no wait looks cooler and less choppy (maybe that’s on me lol) Some other things I tested: * Frame test! Because I do all of my art on flipaclip I realized it kind of sucks how my canvas doesn’t cover the whole scratch canvas, I kind of just took a educated guess for what the scratch canvas ratio was, and hoping it fit (I am NOT buying premium). Luck enough it fit perfectly ^^ * Along with the delay stuff I tested the animation with a “normal” animation, a animation with impact frames (I don’t even do those much lol), and with those pause frames (idk what their called, freeze frames????) So overall this went really good! Although I should of been working on my gamejam project instead of this stuff *looks away and sweats*
Everything by me
