··· -ˋˏ ༻✒︎✎ ༺ ˎˊ- ··· ❝ EXTRA! EXTRA! local kit reportedly tells truth. witnesses remain skeptical. ❞ ······· ? 《 ✉ 》? ······· Hey there! This is just an idea dump for my application but I will refine it later. I really wanted to apply for this litter because I thought the theme was intriguing, and I haven't seen Wisp's design as of yet but the name stole my heart! Here is the rambles: ✒︎ A vintage, gentlemanly newspaper reporter aesthetic theme. Like a conspiracy theorist. ✒︎ A compulsive liar, not trying to be mean, but he simply tries to make life more entertaining for others. He likes to charm others into believing the impossible. With him, grey skies can seem blue, and puddles seem to hide secrets. ✒︎ Most definitely 100% a bad influence ✒︎ Wil have a friend group that either causes trouble or he gets them in trouble ✒︎Will lean in and whisper with wink like, 24/7. ✒︎ Says things like, "That's what they want you to think." ✒︎ An ordinary day with him involved is finding him convincing poor, oblivious fellow kits that the shiny rocks he so carefully lay before him could be wished on. Mentally he's laughing. ✒︎ He has really good control over his expressions, he arranges them with careful thought, and deploys nothing half-heartedly. His smiles are wide and toothy, his laughs loud and wild and breathless. ✒︎ He never apologizes. Ever. ✒︎ If caught, he bows dramatically and says something like, "My sincerest apologies. I simply wished to improve the afternoon." ✒︎ Definitely plans to rope his fellow kits into following him into dark corners in camp. He'd say, "Now don't make any sudden movements. If the Dream Badger is sleeping today, we should be perfectly safe." And the poor kits would ask: "...Wisp... what's a Dream Badger?" And Wisp would pause, look back, smile, and say gravely, "I was hoping one of you knew." Then purposefully step on a twig and watch them panic. ✒︎ When he gets older, maybe apprentice age, I plan for some character arcs to be for him to stop scaring and tormenting others. He finds this as a great way to make a boring day fun by telling made up ghost stories like a promise. I'm sure after getting scolded he'd at least promise not to prank anyone by stepping on twigs or telling ghost stories. ✒︎ He will totally get around this by letting other's imaginations do all the work for him. He'll say. "Keep your voice down. they're listening." And then leave. ✒︎ He's got an extensive vocabulary, constantly eavesdropping on warriors and stealing big words, he's very proud of his polished words. ✒︎ Another random quote idea: "Reality's perfectly adequate... but have you considered improving it?" ✒︎ Also he loves to annoy his siblings, if they sneeze he says, "Breaking news! Local apprentice defeated by invisible pollen assassin!" ✒︎ If a sibling takes forever to wake up: "They live! After a grueling twelve-hour hibernation, our brave survivor has returned to the land of the living." ✒︎ If one falls over: "This just in! Gravity has claimed another victim." ✒︎ He says things like "Breaking news!" a lot, to tie into the reporter theme ✒︎ He definitely interviews cats too, if multiple cats witness a butterfly, or someone coughing, he'd likely turn to the closest feline and ask. "how how this affected your day?" ✒︎ World's biggest gossip. ✒︎ Can keep secrets. Chooses not to. Or he'll gossip half of it out of context and watch outlandish rumors bloom. ✒︎ When he gets to warrior age, I imagine he'll try to be more honest. But his biggest flaws are that he's a compulsive liar and he's easily bored. Even a sunset he finds himself making sound more beautiful or mythical than it is. I imagine he'd have to be taught by others how to be more mature, which would be imteresting. Welp, that's all the rambles for now! But I will polish this up into an actual application soon!
