Yesterday at 5 PM, President S.Petroni spoke to the Vespacian people. He said the following: “The Soviet Federation has embarked on a path of regrettable, and inexcusable evil, towards our nation. They have stationed hypersonic weapons and a considerable security contingent, in Alvernia, to exercise leverage against us. In spite of this evil, we endure; and we show them a way out. To the Soviet Federation: remove your weapons from Alvernia within 9 days, by July 20, and this will be a thing of the past. I speak for both Vespacians and Soviets when I say: I hope you can meet that deadline. In the meantime, naval forces will be dispatched to prevent the entrance of further nuclear weapons.”
