(I’m working on other stuff to post :0 sorry lol) Lmk if there’s any typos I rushed this description so badly lol Recently I got the opportunity (I begged shadow three chapters in advance :]) to do the Thumbnail for Chapter 10 of Bound Dubbed (highly recommend you check it out if you haven’t already shadow has been doing an incredible job with it and it literally feels like a full on movie.) These are all of my sketches and process for the Final thumbnail which you can see in this thumbnail a bajillion times and that I doodled over every single one of them. Btw there were a few more variants to this but literally the only difference was moving the eyes like .5 mm wider 800 times until shad thought it was good enough lol OKAY HERE WE GO 1- TN for this project 2-4 the first original three sketches for the TN (first one is Pink and DB second is Pink Orange and DB and the third is the same but facing the opposite direction) 5- when we decided to go through with the second this is what I sent back with all the lighting done as you can see as we move forward the only thing that really changes is the lighting on orange’s face and his expression 6-8 I just didn’t take the lighting off for this lol and it was a few more expression designs. None of the lighting for it was final they were just to show the options 9- we ended up going with a mix of two and this is what it looked like when I was done (removed the lighting because it was getting in the way and didn’t match up any more anyways) 10- made the eyes slightly wider (there’s like 6 other versions that get increasingly bigger lol but this is the final) 11- Fixed the lighting on orange’s face :D 12- Final TN <3
YIPEEE go watch Bound Dubbed chapter 10 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1338298788/ And Go read bound if you haven’t already <33 (STAR IS AMAZING >:D ) First chapter-https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1043015233/ I’m working on an art dump and a bunch of things for art fight. Will probably get to some VA stuff and Comic remix challenge/ the comic trade with darky soon. Don’t expect the Astrial comic anytime soon. I want to finish it but it’s complicated :/ (gonna still TRY to release it) As for My own comics work is going slowly and steadily I’ve got an idea for something for while you guys wait though :D just might take a minute or two and High Tide refs should hopefully be out by the end of the month :] (I am going to have to rework those eventually because it’s just a headshot and a side profile not a full turnaround of each char)
