simple explanation for each slide 1. Scratch can train AI on your projects 2. When (not if) AI gets added as an extension in the form of an LLM (like ChatGPT), they can "exploit," your AI output. This is in stark contrast to how you should be able to do whatever you want with your projects. 3. They are likely to use AI for coding recommendations, MODERATE CONTENT, and improve the scratch website (I think that last one is like vibe coding) 4. Anonymous info will be shared with third parties for training AI models to improve safety. Like that's gonna work. 5. AI tools are used for recommendations. 6. They vibe code Scratch (in the open source code of scratch you can see two files relating to AI Agents) More info on this is in links in the notes and credits. For a while, I considered leaving scratch. However, this while system of sharing projects and having them be seen by anybody instantly isn't on many websites. Therefore, I will be chosing to stay on Scratch. To make this really clear, I am AGAINST AI BEING USED IN CREATIVE ASPECTS. It can be useful in certain situations, but if Scratch goes through with this, the platform will be filled with AI slop projects, and people will never learn to code.
