Retiring in December - The 747-200 has served WGA well and reliably, but after flying for WGA since 1980, and getting multiple upgrades over the years, it's time to give it a rest. Only one airframe is still in service, which is N7428W. This is the ninth 747-200 built for WGA, delivered in 1989 as part of a batch of 5 additional 747-200s. Two other airframes, N7420W and N7426W, the first and seventh airframes, were retired back in February. N7420W, the oldest aircraft in WGA service when retired, is currently being prepared for relocation to the LSAM.
