He never really did and I regret applying for him tbh. I was checking out the advertisement section and I saw the ad for this litter and went, "hey, I've been thinking about getting a kittypet" since I get terrible horrible burnout from grinding and then I don't do anything with my charries. I want to have a kit with a more lore-oriented life. I want to go back to how I felt with Belladonna, and I don't think I can do that in a clan lol. Then I saw Veiled, and I got just a bunch of ideas for the silly, she enamored me in a way I haven't experienced like ever (apart from Hailstormkit I drew him so much man). Idk man I js rlly like her :) >> Future identity << >> For her kithood, Veiled will identify as what she was born as (a female) and use she/her pronouns, so that's what I will be using in this application. Sometime pretty early in her juvenile moons, she'll want to figure herself out. She'll identify as genderfluid for a while, using any/all pronouns, before eventually settling on genderflor specifically and using they/it pronouns. She's quick to devote herself to any cat she has positive interactions with, and she'll help them until she can't help anymore. Kind of the mom friend, she's ready to care for anyone, and hates to see others suffering. It makes her sad, almost like she's hurting too. >> [=] Though not the life of the party, and very quiet, Veiled loves to be around other cats. She may not be very chatty, but she finds comfort in being near other cats. She loves to learn, and will often ask questions to cats she deems knowledgeable. She also often has her head in the clouds, daydreaming various scenarios. She'll often pause what she's doing to admire the colors of a butterfly and try to figure out its life's story. [-] Of course, the people-pleaser she can be, it makes Veiled worried about how she appears to others. Though she does her best not to let it show, she can spend a lot of time thinking about how best to present herself so that other cats like her. She wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice herself for another cat, even in the smallest of things. She'll stick to her chosen cats like glue, sometimes even leading to jealousy in the event they show favor to another cat. And, unfortunately, she's so desperate to be liked she'll lie. Not always about big things, not always about small things, just whatever will let her appear best to others. >> Research << >> Generalized Anxiety Disorder - research tba!! Innatentive ADHD- ADHD is a genetic neurological condition with 3 types- Inattentive, Hyperactive, and Combined. Veiled has inattentive type, which is most common in females. It's much less outwardly obvious than hyperactive type, and can often be mistaken for daydreaming. Veiled's symptoms will include: Struggling with deadlines, struggling with keeping focus on tasks, forgetting things, and being easily distracted. These will be prominent, consistent struggles that will hinder her daily life. She will struggle with managing them, and as such, this will create feelings of guilt as she is unable to do what so many other cats can. >> GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) - GAD is a mental health condition that causes extreme worrying or stress, even when such worrying or stress may be uncalled for. It has a multitude of possible causes, including possibly differences in brain wiring, and can stem from underlying problems. In Veiled, she will struggle with excessive and uncontrollable worrying. Physically, this will cause restlessness, difficulty sleeping, shortness of breath, muscle tension, and stomachaches. [More below]
[Wow it's more] She will likely also struggle to manage this, and will try to just ignore her struggles, which of course would just make things worse!! >> Research - I have both of these + Cleveland Clinic >> Plot ideas << >> Now, I'm not too sure about plot ideas, since I mostly want to let her life run its course naturally, but I have thought of some things. I think that, at least for a time, she will leave the twolegplace to be a traveler. She'll try to meet as many cats as possible during this time, and try to make many friends. If this goes spectacularly well, she may put down roots next to one clan or another, or even try to join! However, I find the idea of her joining UrchinClan to be unlikely, since it's too violent and mean for her. I think she would support any and all cats she can possibly manage during her time as a loner, as long as she gets enough exp (I won't be grinding, though I do enjoy doing weekly quests and the occasional exp thread, so it shouldn't be to hard). I want her to start a group at some point (I have some ideas but none fleshed out enough to share yet). Generally she'll just be a sort of worried cat.
