♫ ₊˚ music is "healthy habit" by madison beer hi all! it's been a minute but i've decided that i'm going to be leaving scratch. today marks my 8 year anniversary on scratch - over half my life, which is crazy! i first joined scratch as @bb_bunnie in 2018! tbh i forgot what i even posted there because i unshared all my projects when i moved accounts, and lost access when scratch banned the account for some reason ^^" after i moved to @minamicake i was probably at the peak of my activity on scratch for a while, but that definitely started to decline around the final months of that account. that was when i moved here in hopes of bringing my activity up again, but i think by then i had already outgrown this site so much that i couldn't really get back into my groove. the lack of motivation to post was something that used to bother me, since scratch used to be such an integral part of my life and i didn't feel ready to let it go just yet. i think that was probably my main reason for sticking around for as long as i did, even though i wasn't really "here" since i only posted occasionally. nowadays i feel that my priorities have changed and i've really just grown out of this place ^^ tbh the fact that this doesn't bother me as much as it would have like a year ago tells me that it's time to move on! this is especially true now that i'm maturing as a person and developing more of a social life as i get older, and of course having to focus more on school as i start high school in a month. for my last project before leaving i've made a final art dump of my recent work (or ig less recent for some of these)! in the future i might check in sporadically or give an update on how i'm progressing with art and life and whatnot, but for a while now i've been ready to say goodbye and be able to focus on other things without having scratch at the back of my mind :')) 8 years is a long time, especially for someone my age who got into scratch so young! it's been a big part of my life, and ngl it might even be where i discovered my passion to draw and write. i've met so many lovely people here and made a lot of good memories that i won't be forgetting anytime soon. thanks for sticking with me and supporting me for this time! ⟢ yun
