use fullscreen click to change the pattern go inside and make your own pattern
the point is not to just look at the two existing patterns but to go into the costumes with the "see inside" button and draw your own you will see in the blank costumes a hexagon made of 6 slightly larger dots at the corners and 6 smaller dots in between. if you draw a line starting from one the smaller dots and ending at another one of the smaller dots, (ignore the larger dots) and if do that so all of the smaller dots have a line connecting them somehow, they should be able to tile in an interesting way. i didn't explain that best, but just experiment and have fun. that was how I learned to do this.
