To begin with, I use the fox's 4th rare skin and the common skinned lynx kit's ears, To match Elula's mixed specie's genes. That's 3 animals and 4 breeds. The 2 are the red fox and the grey fox. One is the rex cat, and the last one is the golden jackal. Basically, Elula is a Chimera XD Anyways, I take a screenshot on each pose and action frame so that I can remove the background, and cutout the front legs/arms, the lower jaw, separate the upper jaw/muzzle from the head, draw fangs under it, erase the eyes to make custom ones, etc. Next, I start the editing process on Ibis Paint X, using the "grayscale" filter on all of the character limbs and cutouts, and add a clip layer with an "overlay" blending mode. And to get the rendered fluff, before using the smudge tool with the round brush (point) pen, I add two clipping layers, first one set to "multiply" blending mode and using an indigo shade, and the second has the "add" blending mode where it has a light orange shade. I use a custom brush I made for these WildCraft edits and arts that can also be used to make the character more "realistic". But I used it for the shading/rendering. I turn on "force fade" with both the start and end points being set to 50, and using the "linear" mode. And then I blur the shades and lights and then set both layers to an opacity of 50-70% before merging these layers to the part I rendered and start "furring" with the smudge tool. That's all. Happy coding!
