I hope that you burn the next life for your actions. You’ve taken everything away from me. You took my arm, you uprooted my life–by the goddess, you took away the one person I finally knew how to love.” This time he was truly speechless. And I somehow kept going. “You took my life away. You took Zelda from me. You k*lled her. I loved her, and you took her from me.” I shouted at him, my body tense, my knuckles white. “Shut up,” Ganondorf said in agony, as if my words were piercing him like arrows through a fine mist. “Shut up, shut up, shut up!” Ganondorf raced forward, and our blades clanged together sharply, both of us pressing our blades together by force with the palms of our opposite hands as if we were looking in a mirror. “I will k*ll you, boy!” But he was struggling. He was weakening. And I pushed harder on the sacred bland in my hand–harder, harder, harder. Harder than I ever had before. Each blow from Ganondorf was harder than the last. I struck a chord on him—I said something that angered him greatly. I smirked, which only made him even more livid. It was easy. How could this be? “And I you!” I responded, focusing my strength into the blade in my hands. “Good!” Ganondorf barked at me, his voice hard and distorted. “Then we will both die happy!” “No,” I said, bitterness in my tone. “You don’t know what happiness is. You’ve never experienced it at all.” Ganondorf’s expression neutralized. His strength began to falter, and I was able to find an opening, to which he just barely was able to block. “If you knew what happiness was, we wouldn’t be here. If you could experience any emotion at all, we wouldn’t be here,” I saw weakness in his eyes as I threw my words at him. Our swords clanged, but this time he was angry. He was livid. His eyes burned with absolute hatred, and he concentrated his strength into his sword. I began to struggle against this sudden might, hoping the panic wouldn’t be clear in my face. I tried to keep myself as composed as possible, but my own strength wasn’t following through. Ganondorf relentlessly slashed his sword with no purpose or target in sight, and my face was nicked several times. I felt bl0od run from new wounds along my cheek and forehead, and could feel they were deep. I was exhausted, mentally and physically. But this couldn’t end here, it wouldn’t end here— He had me up against the wall. His blade was at my neck. He smirked, beginning to press the blade into the flesh of my neck. I winced, keeping still. “How does it feel, hero?” Ganondorf spoke coolly. “Having your life slowly being ripped away? This is the end of the road for you. You’ve failed.” This was it. This was the end. I was a failure, just as I had always been. A fool, an utter fool! I was dr*nk on my own power, on my own pride. How foolish I had been. How stupid. I saw something that looked like Sidon out of the corner of my eyes. Perhaps I was dead, and the sages had come to take me away. ଘ(੭´꒳`)°* ੈ‧₊˚ *ᵍᵃˢᵖ* ᶜᵒⁿᵗⁱⁿᵘᵉᵈ ᵇᵉˡᵒʷ! ᶜʰᵉᶜᵏ ⁱᵗ ᵒᵘᵗ!

A sword from what appeared to be Gerudo origin sliced through his left shoulder, and gloom squirted from the wound. I inched my way out from the sword, feeling the cold metal kiss my skin and slice through the soft pink of my flesh. I put my hand to the wound and it came back dripping with bl0od, warm and sticky. I began to feel woozy as the familiar scent of iron drifted through my nostrils, realizing how deep the cut was. “Link!” Tulin began to fire arrows towards the Demon King, who grew overwhelmed by the number of attackers. Ganondorf fumbled, a look of shock growing on his face, mixed with anger and rage. No, I was not dead. The sages assembled, surrounding the Demon King, who stumbled back as Riju disarmed him. He looked at each of us closely, his eyes settling upon me. He sighed. “Light-dwelling creatures are so unintelligent,” Ganondorf complained. “So boring, so…basic.” I tightened my fist around the Master Sword, the adrenaline masking the pain in my neck with energy. He was laughing now. Ganondorf was cackling, louder, and louder still. He continued maniacally, and I understood now what I had overlooked. ☾ ──────── ➷ ───────» ✧ /!\ P0L1CY ᵐʸ ʷʳⁱᵗⁱⁿᵍ ⁱˢ ⁿᵒᵗ ᵗᵒ ᵇᵉ ᵘˢᵉᵈ ᵒʳ ˢᵗᵒˡᵉⁿ ᵇʸ ᵃⁿʸᵒⁿᵉ ʷⁱᵗʰᵒᵘᵗ ᵖᵉʳᵐⁱˢˢⁱᵒⁿ. ⁱᶠ ᴵ ᶠⁱⁿᵈ ᵗʰᵃᵗ ᵃⁿʸᵒⁿᵉ ᵃᵗ ᵃˡˡ ʰᵃˢ ᵇᵉᵉⁿ ᵘˢⁱⁿᵍ ᵐʸ ʷʳⁱᵗⁱⁿᵍ ⁱⁿ ᵃⁿʸʷᵃʸ ʷⁱᵗʰᵒᵘᵗ ᵖʳᵒᵖᵉʳ ᶜʳᵉᵈⁱᵗ, ᴵ ʷⁱˡˡ ⁿᵒᵗ ʰᵉˢⁱᵗᵃᵗᵉ ᵗᵒ ʳᵉᵖᵒʳᵗ ʸᵒᵘ. ᵗʰᵃⁿᵏˢ ᶠᵒʳ ᵘⁿᵈᵉʳˢᵗᵃⁿᵈⁱⁿᵍ! ✉ credits┇ ₍ᐢ⑅ ̥ ̮ ̥ᐢ₎ music ☁ none descr ☁ me, @--peace- thumb ☁ me; art found online desc font ☁ me ☾ ──────── ➷ ───────» ✧ ⌗ ☄ tags┇ignore ༘° #sneakyWulf2811 #tloz #the #legend #of #zelda #fanfic #fanfiction #chapter #66 #link #zelink #breath #of #the #wild #tears #of #the #kingdom
