Chapter 3 ( normal ) As I wake, I notice a blurry figure standing in my face, staring me down. When my surroundings fully came to view, I realized it's a little guy who’s entire right side was missing, showing the bones underneath, but they looked like they were covered in this black void looking stuff. I yelp and scrabble to the other side of the room as he watches me curiously. “ Hiya! “ He said. ‘Hello?’ I try to reply, and it just comes out as a confused growl. “Oh! I see! You must not be able to talk?” I pause before shaking my head. “Okay! So, I was told to come in here and…” He paused for a moment, seemingly thinking about what to say “oh, tell you how it goes around here!” I tilt my head. “So, we’re all in a hidden laboratory somewhere, I dunno where. But the thing is, they find you when you’re injured and ‘heal us’ which is why my leg and stuff is like this! So, from what I remember, you are…. Subject five zero zero, i think. That's what the science guys call you. My number is four three two, but you can call me Oliver.” He took a breath before continuing. “So these guys put some animal DNA in us for some experiment thing, and it makes us have attributes of that animal! I’m pretty sure they put cat DNA for me, so I have cat ears and a tail for some reason. I’m also FLUFFY!” He looked me up and down. “The scientist guys have no idea what they put in you, though. I think they said something about the DNA coming from a meteor. You’ve been here about a week, and usually you’d have a lot more mutations by now, but you seem pretty normal, other than your uh…. size. You’re very tall, but I think that’s probably all I can see that’s changed.” He sat down across from me. “So! Wanna be friends?”
