# S-8I — "Float" **Classification:** S (Safe) **Threat Level:** Minimal **Status:** Contained --- ## Description S-8I, designated **"Float,"** is an anomalous floating head resembling a Scratch Cat. The entity displays a faint, permanent smile and appears to be severed at the neck. Beneath the head is visible blood where the remainder of the body would normally be expected. Despite its unsettling appearance, S-8I has demonstrated no hostile behavior. --- ## Appearance Observed characteristics include: * Floating Scratch Cat head * Faint smile * Motionless * Visible blood beneath the neck * No body present The entity does not blink, speak, or react to nearby movement. --- ## Behavior S-8I remains completely stationary. The anomaly has shown no evidence of: * movement * pursuit * vocalization * aggression * environmental manipulation It simply hovers in place. Long-term observation has revealed no changes in behavior. --- ## Discovery S-8I was discovered during a routine Foundation survey of archived Scratch projects. The head was found suspended in an otherwise empty scene. No scripts controlling its position or behavior were present. Removing or editing the sprite did not affect its continued appearance. --- ## Containment Containment procedures are minimal. Personnel are instructed to: * document its location, * avoid unnecessary interaction, * continue periodic observation.
