Taking in Mekong's 6 of 10 wins in 2022, he led Mekong to multiple podiums. His remarkable win was at the wet weather finale, 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix at Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace. Winning the Brazilian Grand Prix in a 1-2 formation with teammate, Chali Vang in the final Honda powered Mekong, the Mekong MGP/35, marking a great end of the relationship between Honda & Mekong since 1987 to 2022.
