aysOS is significantly faster than OpenMX. Have a look! Both had their frame limits set to 250 FPS OpenMX is about 100 FPS on average aysOS is around 200 FPS on average NOW THAT IS 2 TIMES FASTER!!! aysOS runs faster than Minecraft!* Not only that, aysOS supports OpenMX app support, so you don't even need to rewrite apps from scratch!*
How did I do all of this? You see, I focused on minimizing the amount of background processes aysOS has. aysOS does 5 things in the background, meanwhile OpenMX does 66!* Asterisks (you knew those would come) *aysOS runs faster than Minecraft because Minecraft ran at ~100FPS on my laptop with V-Sync disabled. Compare that to aysOS, which runs at ~200FPS. *Sadly, aysOS doesn't support InterApp apps, because of how different OpenMX and aysOS are on the inside. *Both OSes were idling, during the FPS check. Heavy load in aysOS is likely going to still result in higher FPS compared to OpenMX. Also yes I manually counted both.
