so. I haven't been active on scratch for a while - almost half of a year. My life has been busy, yes, but its mostly because scratch just isn't a big part of my life anymore. When I was younger, I never thought I would outgrow it. I was on scratch every day, drawing and animating and coming up with new ideas. Now, not so much. Why? Partly because I've developed new interests that I'd rather spend time on. But also partly because my closest friends on scratch I'm no longer friends with. We've sadly grown apart, and she was the one who'd originally inspired me to join scratch, to start drawing and animating, to make a comic, to join TFCRP, and so much more. I no longer feel like I have a big connection to scratch without her. Finally, the pressure. Drawing and writing my comic, a Story in the Stars, was tough. As much as I wanted to share my story and ideas with everyone, my drawing and commitment levels just weren't ready. I'd make deadlines for myself, but could never meet them. I'd burn out and it would take me months to finish a chapter. I felt guilty that I was letting my fans down, but also reluctant to continue. So, what comes next? I'm going to be leaving scratch. Not right away, but soon. I want to finish out the life of my TFCRP character, Monarchmuse, but after that, I will be leaving. I will be doing no more animating or drawing anymore SITS. I'm sorry to my fans, but I will make another project to hopefully explain my decision better. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. I hold so many amazing memories with scratch, and it will be bittersweet to finally say goodbye. I've come so far in my animating, storytelling, and drawing skills. I couldn't be who I am today without this experience. Thank you again to everyone. <333
