I wake up and leave my den. I take a few sips from the river, then sit down to listen to the birds singing. The cool breeze caresses my whiskers. What a beautiful day. Yet something is wrong; the birds haven't sung yet, even though they do every morning. I feel a little strange, so I decide to walk around the lake. I can only hear the sound of my own footsteps, and I begin to feel uneasy. Suddenly, I see a dark shape emerge from a bush and run at full speed into another. That's when I understood. The curse has returned.
