Whose broad stripes and bright stars Through the perilous fight O'er the ramparts we watched Were so gallantly, yeah, streaming? And the rockets' red glare The bombs bursting in air Gave proof through the night That our flag was still there O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave ============================== Aha! 250 YEARS OF AMERICA! wow that's a lot Over these 2 centuries, heroes from all walks of life try to find the perfect america it was destined to be. In 1776, Thomas Jefferson wrote the 1st copy of the Declaration of Independence. It was edited in Supreme court (I think that's shat it's called), and given to someone.. (ahh nevermind) It is split up into parts- Preamble Natural Rights Greviences Resolution Names of the people who helped with the DOI. I assume Thomas Jefferson signed the largest.. This is all from my memory in school, and you know it's summer time... So, if you want to learn more, find LIBERTY KIDS, it's a cool series about the age of well, america, breaking down the DOI, Constitution, Boston Tea Party, and much more! ============================== I'm done talking now Have a SPLENDID FOURTH OF JULY! And don't forget to comment something---
