PLEASE USE TURBOWARP: turbowarp.org/1351146489 --- Instructions --- WASD, arrow keys, or drag to move the camera. + & - keys or buttons on bottom right corner to zoom. Press "r" to see my favorite spot to look at. Click the stop sign to see a high quality version of the point you're looking at. --- About --- This is the second version I made of the Mandelbrot Set which is slightly faster and looks better (100% pen this time) with up to 10^15 zoom. The thunbnail was generated using this project. New Update (7/3/2026): Removed buttons & sliders when stop sign clicked. --- Explanation --- For each pixel on the screen, it converts it's position into complex numbers. The formula z_n+1 = z_n^2 + c (where z starts at 0+0i and c is the pixel's coordinates) is applied over several iterations until z_n blows up into infinity, where it is colored based on the number of iterations it lasted. If it doesn't blow up, the pixel is colored black. --- Credits --- Thanks to Benoit B. Mandelbrot for discovering the Mandelbrot set! Everything else is 100% me.
