I know I said it would be next wednesday but I was bored, so, here it is. The fire raged towards us, so we ran, all in different directions away from the flames. Smoke filled my lungs and I broke out in a coughing fit. Water, I need to find water, I thought. I ran to the river, and jumped in. For the split second that I was underwater, all my emotions were washed away, like they were spinning away, and I wanted to grab them, but I didn't know which way was up. My head eventually broke the surface, and I gasped for air, heaving myself onto the shore. It was then, that I realized that I was completely alone, no fire or cave in sight.
