★The Diary of a Champion: Part 1★ Chapter 4: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1350839528 ____________________________________________ Chapter 5: I decided to choose the closest shrine from my current location. I had no idea if this would be the easiest to get to, but Zelda was in danger, and I had no time to think over this matter. With my back turned to the Magnesis shrine, I hurried off to the next shrine, which was secluded by mossy stone walls. A bokoblin managed to find its way to me while I was on my way, so I quickly snatched an oak branch up and beat it in 2 seconds. I could already feel the muscle memory from 100 years ago returning to my body! Knowing I had to be resourceful, I grabbed the boko's disgusting, purple, fluid-covered guts and threw them in my satchel, along with his teeth. His sword, a worn traveler's weapon, had a dull tip, but it was the best I had to work with at this point. I continued my excursion onto the shrine and vaulted the first of a few of those moss-covered walls. Clambering over the next couple walls, I thought I heard a strange rumbling, followed by some strange beeping noises. I soon found out that the same machine which was the nightmare fuel from 100 years ago I had saved the Korok from had returned to haunt me!! The trauma returned to my brain, and I rushed behind the next wall I could find. My heart was pumping like crazy. I grabbed an old pot lid off the ground and held it to my left. Inching closer, I prepared myself for a parry against this corrupted guardian. Thankfully, it couldn't move, and I snuck right under it and plunged the traveler's sword I'd picked up straight into the guardian's eye! Relief poured over me and sweat trickled down my cheeks. Exhausted, I walked around the last wall and trudged up to the shrine's platform. I tapped the sheikah slate to the pedestal awaiting me and sat with my legs crossed and my back against the wall as the elevator descended. I sheathed the sword and trotted over to the pedestal, which sure enough, granted me another ability. (apparently called a rune by my slate) This rune was remote bombs I could set off whenever I wanted! There were 2 shapes: square, and circle. A high rock wall stood in my way, and I produced a spherical bomb and chucked it at the barrier. It landed right in the center! A path was revealed and I clambered up the rubble from the explosion to another blockade, this time, with tiny guardian scouts! I flung another bomb at them and then placed a square bomb at the 2nd one's feet. I ran a few feet away and exclaimed, "bombs away!" The guardian scouts shattered! I collected their loot and tools and hurried up the steps to another old Sheikah's throne. He granted me another spirit orb for my hard work with the remote bomb rune and I was warped away to the platform of the shrine entrance. I pulled my weight up onto one of the rock walls and gazed at the 3rd shrine, which found itself balancing precariously high above a cliff near the old man's cabin. Pondering the different possible ways to get up there, I chose an insanely fun, extremely efficient, and death-defying way to get to it. This trick I had up my sleeve would definitely shock even Ganon if he saw it. I called it WINDBOMBING. ____________________________________________ Chapter 6: Image from google search Music from Archive.org
